Should schools have boundaries, or should families be allowed to attend any school they wish?

I believe that students should be allowed to go to school anywhere their family chooses. I believe, however, that public transportation and funds should be strictly utilized in the school district where that student resides.

Families should be allowed to attend where they wish. Administration makes such a huge difference in the overall dynamic of the school and we had to fight hard to choice out elsewhere. The best interest of the student should come first.

Families should be allow to attend any school they wish, especially if the child is gifted and the education that the local school provides is average or below.

Because travel may too expensive or time-consuming for low-income families, any student who lives near a particular school should have first pick of a spot there. Assuming there are any open seats, transfers could be considered at that point.

Families should attend any school they wish based on the child's academics. Why should a gifted child have to suffer and attend their home school if their home school isn't up to standards.

if they put the cameras that'll help all schools get their ed.let the parents see whats going on at every second of class if they want .lets jus see why we really need to move across country to find a good school.lets keep our eyes on our children..

..reason. My kids won't be punished for some one else's poor planning. If you want your child to go to a specific school then buy or rent a home there. If not, then get in line and hope for an empty seat.

district then how you can say your child should have a seat over a child with in the boundaries? I bought my home in a nice neighborhood and zoned for good schools before my child was even born. I am paying the higher home price and taxes for this.
