Absolutely! My son forgets everything over the summer. His progress recesses so I enroll both my kids into Kumon for this reason. I believe they should have homework! Like a packet per month.

I think that kids should not have homework over holiday break because they need a break from all of that homework.

I think kids need a break from school work over a holiday break. I think the only exception might be reading.

Absolutely not. They need a break to relax and catch up on personal reading, writing and friend and family time. My kids are high schoolers now but I felt this way in elementary school as well.

No. How angry would you be if your boss sent home work that you had to complete over your BREAK time??? There is a reason for downtime, to rejuvinate. These poor kids need it too

No. kids need to explore and be creative. They are working all day during school days and need to play and explore when on holiday.

Some homework like reading or writing about family activities over break can help students connect break to Learning. Learning should be enjoyable as should break time, but break time doesn't need to be mindless to be enjoyed.

I strongly believe that every child should have homework to do at home. That would be some time to spend with parents and also homework given is for the benefit of the child. No one is just giving homework to ruin families life's.

Absolutely not.....I don't believe in homework either...the kids are at school all day long, and need a rest so they won't resent learning.
