Cane Ridge is an ok school- the students there have for the most part grown up together and are really close there are majority of the teachers that seem passionate about what they do and the students however there doesnt seem to be any open door policies with the exec prinicple when there are issues, there are not any positive organizations that the exec principle supports which may be the reason the school is on the news constantly,

Really like this school. I moved here from Hamilton County and I must say that I was very skeptical at first because of the number of students in the school. Academically, they have alot to offer and take time to assist any child that asks. I have had teachers stay after school just to help my child. They are not perfect but they put forth a great effort. That is all I can ask in an age where teachers arent as caring as they use to be.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Tennessee used the Gateway/End-of-Course (EOC) exams to test high school students in language arts, math, science, and social studies upon completion of relevant courses. Students must pass the algebra I, English II, and biology I tests, called the Gateway exams, in order to graduate. The Gateway/EOC exams are standards-based tests that measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined by the state of Tennessee. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.
