I am highly pleasaed with the service provided by BSJr.HS. Especially concerning the 'open communication'I receive from my Daughter's 'Teachers, & Officials' (K-present), the fact my Daughter is gaining a great education, & that she enjoys her classes/attending/participating. Down side: I would appreciate more 'AUTHORITY' being given to teachers to be able to handle problems rather than simply handing out 'discipline equally' to ALL involved (When it's known one created a problem to begin with), rather than handing Equal to ONE for 'standing up for themself. This should be 'taught at home' I agree! Also: It would be a blessing if drivers would drop off students in a responsible (Rather than anywhere our children can simply be 'dropped out' {Leads to a chance of injury})/considerate (Rather than holding up a line of other drivers) manner. It's sad the staff does not pass this info. along. Sad it needs to be.

We have twin boys in 'K'. They will be in Grade 1 next year. Their teacher, Mrs Hehn, is incredible and takes interest in all of her kids on a one on one basis. My kids love school and a lot of it has to do with the positive attitude of the teachers. We know the first grade teachers and anticipate the same results next year. I can not imagine a better school for my kids to be in, either private or public. To be honest, I can not comment on the higher grades, but for 'K', my kids have taught the fun of learning. That is the most important lesson of all. Also, their social skills have greatly improved as a result of field trips.

My opinion of this school is not the greatest. Some of the high school students cuss at the younger students. My child comes home telling me what the other students sing.Big kids on the bus hit and cuss at the younger ones. What's done?Nothing. Really nasty songs and gestures. Now this is coming from a first grader. This school does not seem to pay attention to these matters. They seem to let the kids do what they want to do. Whatever happened to 'No child left Behind'. If a child doesn't comprehend a subject, the teacher keeps moving on.And whatever happened to'zero tolerance'? The principal sets good examples by getting fined for cussing out umpires @ baseball games.
