Sunset Middle School

As a previous student, I soon found that the strongly enforced teachings that Sunset Middle school had based thier learning on, was superficial and did not well-equip me for highschool. The quality of teachers were poor, and too many of the teachers obviously did not get along with one another. I also noticed, that most teachers at Sunset were 'rejected' teachers from the nearby school 'Woodland' and that the amount of extra-activites was very limited. I hope in the near future, that Sunset will not only have better quality teachers but become a better school community in general.

This is a wonderful school. I have a child with speical needs. They have done a wonderful things for him. The teachers are wonderful. I would tell anyone to put your child in this school.

Sunset Middle school is the best school. They are not really that strict as far as dress codes etc but they do have codes. The children are very happy with that and it helps them to feel better about themselves. The teachers are top notch. We have never had any problems at all, even with the elementary which is attached. The school is always well kept and the staff is rather friendly.

Did not like this school much at all. There's only very few great teachers there.

Sunset Middle School is a wonderful family-oriented school. We moved in mid-year from Va. and they helped tremendously with the transition. The principal, the teachers, guidance counselors and really the entire staff are very dedicated. The kids are allowed to be kids while still learning and growing into who they are.
