We are missionaries in South America. In 2008, we were home on furlough. The church and school made every accommodation for us as missionaries. The school is very pro-family. On many occasions the pastor of the church told me that Calvary is and extension ministry of the home. The school helps the family do what it is supposed to do. Our children enjoyed it very well and were treated as if they were the only students in class. We liked the attention, quality and spirituality. If we lived full-time in Chattanooga, CCS would be the place for our kids.

Our four children ages 6,11,13,and 16 have been going to Calvary for three years. I believe that this school stands out and excels because of the teachers that truly love the kids and have a heart for the things of God. The school is also academically challenging for the students with Christ as the center of every subject. Kids today have so much pressure on them and Calvary deals with the issues facing our young people today by showing them from the word of God how to live and be successful. Calvary is like a family to our home and we highly encourage any family with children looking for a solid christian education for their child to give the school a try.

I have two children attending this school. We are going into our third year. I have on older son who excells and has grown socially to now be open and grow with a lot of friends. The younger one had learning problems that we thought would pass but the teachers here did not want him to feel pressured. After a meeting we moved him temporarily to k4, he has become a shining star and now loves school. He has asked several time during the summer to go visit them. I cannot say enough good things about this school. If you want a school to care about your kids, truly care, send them here.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
