I am very familiar with the private schools in Atlanta, and, compared to them, McCallie is in a league of its own. The end product is a young man of integrity. We live in Atlanta, and I wrestled with "loosing" my son during these very important, formative years. I now tell folks, "If you REALLY love your son, you'll do WHATEVER you can to send him to McCallie."

McCallie has to be the greatest middle school on earth. I'm a sixth grader and have only been there two weeks and I love it.

Fantastic place for a boy to become a man and to learn how to become independent. The teachers are there to model honor, truth, duty and to find that special skill and ability in each kid that will unleash his abilities. There is enough variety that each boy will find his passion and will be given the space to grow and use his gifts.

This truly is a fantastic school. I don't know what you could want that you can't get here. We sent our sons here because of their academic notoriety, but what we got was far more valuable. Our sons have of course gained from the academic perspective, but they have also developed refined character as well. The are well spoken and polite and this is a direct result of the influence of this school and it's teachers. We would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking. Your results will be a well educated, fine, gentleman.

Great school. Teachers are all very qualified and they specialize in teaching boys. This school does a great job of preparing boys for their future and has a long list of great alumn including the likes of millionare Ted Turner, the owner of the Atlanta Braves and channels such as turner classic movies. Extracurriculars are stellar and many of the sports teams have won multiple state titles.

It's amazing, ranked 25th nationally in SAT scores at 1250. It's absolutely the best school in the south if not country. They make a complete and total effort to make your son a man of Honor Truth and Duty. Students from all over the nation do whatever it takes to succeed in an honorable manner. People of other faith's and backgrounds are respected and embraced. Extracurriculars are offered on just about every aspect of afternoon activity. A rugby program is trying to get started by students which shows that students do have a say in school politics and management. I am a junior boarder from Atlanta, Georgia. I'm class president and I am of Burmese/Pakistani decent, just recently I started the Religious Awareness Society. These are just examples of how students get involved and pursue their interests. Overall, it is an amazing school that can bring out the full potential.

Our son won a scholarship to this school, similar to the Morehead at UNC. It was a wonderful place for a boy to become a young man. Their motto is Honor Truth Duty and the faculty lives by it too. They all lead by example and that is better than just 'telling' a teenager what is right. The academics were top notch - our son earned AP credits that were worth 25 college hours too.
