We were told by the counselor and by the teachers that "academics really isn't our priority." They went on to explain that in the past, when they assigned homework, the parents of the students wouldn't make them do it or the students would just cheat off each other in the morning -- either way, they've stopped assigning homework. This has been the most frustrating and disappointing school we've ever had to deal with.

East Ridge Middle is a diverse mixture of cultures, races, and backgrounds. But all mix well and the teachers and principal work hard to teach them to look toward the future and work together for the good of all.

East Ridge Middles School is a great school; I could not do it without the teachers and the Lights on program. I appreciate all the hard work that our teachers do. Thank you
