This is a great school. The scores are way up from what is shown. The teachers really know and support each student. discipline is improved and the school has brought on reading literacy programs that are really boosting the ability of individual students. If the school board would allocate the same support and money for this school (which has a better tax base, and is therefore bringng in more district tax support than others) this school could expand and have more teachers and students (who would value being nearer their homes with less bus time) and could expand the band, P. E. and music programs, along with facilities to better support its needs. As it is, it is the best k-8 offering in the district. The only problems the school really has is due to narrow mindedness of a few county board members. Parental support is good!
