My Daughter has developed and grows everyday. I am greatful for the leadership and commitment of the staff within Gibbs elementary. The time and responsibility that each Teacher put in and assumes requires love. Thanks for all you do. Happy holidays Danny

My son oldest son started kindergarten this year. I am new to this, but so far, so good. We absolutely love his teacher! She is great! My husband and I both graduated from Gibbs and we are so glad that our kids will get to go there. The community is close knit and there is a lot of parent involvement. It doesn't stop with the parents. The principal and the staff have been great. If a parent doesn't feel that there is any communication, make it happen. I haven't had this experience. His teacher is very open and very easy to talk to about him and what is going on with him in class. The building is new, only a few years old. It is fantastic. I love this community and this school If we could just get our middle school back, that would be icing on the cake.

I'm a parent,my girl is in 3rd grade I like the school, policies, and curriculum but there was no communication all school year long. I find it odd, but ture my child is nw struggeling with math and reading. I wonder why?? she neve had homework. I called the teachd several times & she said this was correct, now going into 4th grade I feel she is way behind.

I have 2 daughters who attend Gibbs, one who has been there several years and one who is a more recent addition to the Gibbs family and we have had nothing but the best at the school. Every year we have had the most excellent teachers for our children. We cannot sing enough praises about this school. We could not be more pleased, even at a private school.

Gibbs Elementary is a great school overall. The only grade I had problems with was 1st grade. I don't think the first grade teachers communicate well with the parents. After your child completes this grade all the rest of the teachers are wonderful.

I have been impressed since the first day my daughter attended Gibbs Elementary. The teachers have been wonderful and the quality of academic success has exceeded my expectation. I also believe the music program is an A+ and the other extracurricular activities aren't far behind. While I believe the parent involvement is low, it is on the rise and I look forward to being a part of encouraging others to get involved.

I have felt that overall this school needs to come into the year 2005. The curriculum used in the school is not as it should be and if you want your child involved in any way and cared for, you better make sure that you are too. The administration is kind and they are fun people. If you have a child that needs extra(due to high intellect) attention in any way, I would seek out another option, or be firm when first attending the school.
