We love SBA. I'm sad to hear negative reviews, especially about safety issues. Safety is a very important issue, and at SBA, we believe it should always come first. My 2 children and I are actually at the school all day, every day and we feel perfectly safe, comfortable, and at home. If you truly find the school to be unsafe, I hope you have chosen another to better meet your needs.

This school does not really deserve the three rating afforded it by greatschools. It is generally unsafe and without direction.

I love SBA. I myself have spent 20 years in education in various venues. My children have also attended the city school system and Riverside. I mean no disrespect to either of the mentioned systems but I prefer SBA. I think their is much to be said for smaller class sizes and the integration of drama, music and visual art. Both of my children test above grade level in math and reading. I attribute much of this success to their school. My fifth grade son actually tests at 9th grade level. The library staff is phenomenal and goes out of their way to promote reading and takes a unique interest in students. The music instuctor is unbelievable, and they are the only elementary school that I am familiar with that still does a christmas program. We're not even zoned to that school but choose to attend.

I have two students at SBA and we all love it!! My children have been successful academically, socially, and creatively. They are able to learn creative arts as well as state standards. My oldest child has scored in the highest range in every subject on TCAP thanks to knowledgable, dedicated staff who are willing to do whatever it takes to help kids succeed.

This is a great school to work at and I can't imagine being anywhere else. The administration is eager to work with everyone involved in the school from the teachers, staff, parents, and children to individuals that contribute to the schools activities. We are a team and we work for the betterment of our students and their future educational careers. Consider a team of educational professionals that are willing to meet the TN state curriculum in a different way. Come by and visit us at Stone Bridge Academy and see all the fun and exciting things that are going on.

My daughter is graduating from 8th grade this year and has gone to SBA since kindergarten. Her teachers have always gone way over their roll of just teaching her in adademics. They treated her like a child of their own and this is why she is so confident of herself and has been on the high honor roll since 3rd grade. My son is also in 3rd grade this year and has loved all of his teachers as well. He is also on the high honor roll and has many friends. The students at SBA are more like a family and treated very fairly by the teachers as well as the principal. The key to any childs success is being actively involved with their education and vollunteering as a parent at their school. The Art programs are out of this world. Please come and check SBA out for yourself.

I am a first year teacher at this school, and I love it here. The teachers and all of the staff are great, and the principal and vice-principal are very supportive. The students love the music and arts program at the school, and the teachers work hard to make every minutes a learning experience.

I have two children at SBA that are 8 and 12 years old. I have been extremely pleased with the school. My 8 year old reads 2 grade levels above his current grade and my 12 year old has been on high honor roll all year. I could not ask for a better academic program. I feel my children are very safe at SBA and we love the school.
