The Principal Mrs Goodwin has very high expectations from all of her staff and students that they will be respectful and come to school to do their very best. She inspires everyone she meets to work hard, and knows every child by name. Oak View is more than a school, it is a family, and you feel that the minute you walk in the door.

This school is fantastic beyond words. All of the staff at Oak View from the Principal on down sincerely care about the students here. In addition, they have great extra-curricular activities such as the Basketball league and Hoot Scoot and Boogie! We are so glad that we found this place!

Oak View Elementary is a wonderful school and it all starts with the principal, Mrs. Goodwin. She is awesome! My son previously attended a National Blue Ribbon elementary in Irvine, CA. That school has nothing on Oak View. We will be moving shortly and I can only hope that we come across a school as good as this one.

Our child has attended Oakview Elementary since kindergarten. The entire staff from the principal on down are nurturing staff. We will never know another environment that is so wonderful again- but we are very glad that our daughter was able to have this amazing experience in her very early years when it is so important to feel that loving environment. They have been an amazing place for kids and parents to go through those early years which are such a huge learning curve for all of us- aren't they:)

I went to this school when it first opened, and then my sister also went there when she was old enough. As an education major, I've been in a lot of elementary schools and would easily venture to say that Oak View is the best. The teachers, principal, parents, and all school personnel are absolutely wonderful.

I have had two children at Oakview and have to say that we have had nothing but a positive experience! It starts with a fantastic principal in Mrs. Goodwin!

My Daughter attended Oakview from Kindergarten through 2nd grade and LOVED it! By 2nd grade she was at a 5th grade reading level. We have since moved out of state and since then she has not only struggled with the desire to read, but also the ability to exceed her level of reading. She misses the school very much. The principal of the school called children by name, and seemed to know a little something about each student. There were no cliques in the school, just a great desire for each student to be accepted. Children are well behaved and kind. It's an excellent place for a child to attend school. Perhaps that's why there is also such a large amount of parent involvement-- because it's a wonderful place to spend time.

My child just graduated from 5th grade today and we are beyond thrilled with the education, love and support that he received during his 6 years at oakview elementary school! we will miss this place more than words can say. We have been completely happy with our years at oakview elementary school. Every single teacher that we have had has been able to figure out how to encourage our child to do his 'personal best' and has helped him to meet his potential. We feel that there could not possibly have been a better elementary school for our child anywhere else in our great country! i would highly recommend this quality school to anyone who is considering moving here to enroll your child in oakview. There are not enough excellent words to write about it! we will miss you oakview elementary school!! keep up the amazing work educating our children!

I would like to pat this school on the back! Although I am not a parent, my nieces attend this school and I am impressed, especially with the Kindergarten teachers! My K niece is reading like crazy and loving it! You don't just start reading without a lot of encouragement and a teacher with a good understanding of instruction.KUDOS to you!
