Has a wonderful bunch of dedicated teachers that go over and above what is expected from them to do the best for the students. GO BLUE!!
My daughter did attend putnam county schools until last year when she switched to jackson county. She was very upset about having to switch, but after this year at jchs she says she loves it and doesn't ever want to go back to putnam county. As a parent that makes me feel great. The teachers there seem to be more one on one and really cares about their students.
Great schools, great with kids, perfect tutoring program, awesome homecoming, the best principle/vice ever, overall excellent!
boring school with tutoring , clubs , & very nice people to be friends within this old school . to strict on dress code ,but not as bad as city schools are. lots of cute guys!
This Schol is a good school.I would recomend this school to anyone new in town.
This school is a great school to attend. I have always went to Jackson County Schools, and we have some of the most helpful and nicest teachers you could ask for. Everyone at this school always looks forward to homecoming. It is the best time of the year around our little town. We have a lot of good sport programs. Our band is awesome, and our cheerleaders are really great. Of course we are most known for our girl's basketball team. We have wonderful clubs and quite a variety to choose from. Overall we have a great school and always have fun.
Im a 2003 grad from JCHS. Overall, the school was great. Its small-classes avg about 20 people, and everyone knows you. You're not a number at the school...you're a human with a name. Its not a 'breeze' by school, nor a extremely hard school...I graduated with a 93.98 average and was active in BETA from freshman-junior year, Pres of FBLA & captain of the bowling team for 2 yrs. JCHS has bowling, volleyball, baseball, softball, basketball & football for sports; BETA, science club, spanish club, math club, FFA, FCCLA and all the other normal clubs. I like the school, the teachers and my classmates. My children will def. attend a school like JCHS.
I was a student of JCHS and I don't think it is a good school. I moved to another school so I could get a better education. I feel you are not challenged enough. People got away with too many things. Also, basically the only sport you have is basketball & football.
I am actually a student at this school. I think it is a great school to attend, it has a good learning program, and most of the teachers make it fun. Yes, it is small, but that is a good thing because you know everyone. I also think that the buliding needs a little reconstruction. We have a variety of sports to choose from and overall it's a great place to go!
I am a student at Jackson County High, and am very happy with how the school is. All the teachers make it fun and they are not just teachers but they are also friends. They make sure that you are learning and don't give up on you. The building needs a little work.
