Southside is great! My three boys (7, 11, and 14) started at the school last year. At first, we were concern the school may be too small to provide a strong social and academic environment for the kids. The small size actually helps in allowing student to make strong friendships and get personal attention. Southside uses educational packets that insure the student learns requirements for the grade level. You can not jump to the next packet until you have tested out of the previous packet. Each student works at his/her own pace. No sliding by because the rest of the class must move on. Also, students can move quickly through subjects of their strengths (no holding back waiting for other students). I strongly recommend checking this school out. The small school does have a nice gym and a boy s basketball team and a girl s volleyball.

Independent learning is not for every child. The staff here have been a tremendous blessing to my daughter and i. We needed an independent learning environment and the support from the school to help with instilling godly principles. Outstanding!

Their academics are ok if you want your kid to sit around and do and learn notthing...The kids there are great.
