My son's 7th grade year was great. Coming out of a middle school in FL to Baileyton Elementary was a God send. The teachers and staff made my son feel safe and welcome. He was not the type of kid to like school but he loves going now. I can't say enough about the teachers. Mr. Gentry (Language), Mrs. Cooter (Science), and Mr. Bailey (Math) all helped to make the 7th grade a good experience for an A.D.D kid that really had a hard time in his previous Schools. So all in all Baileyton Elementary gets an 'A' in my book.

B.E. is a great small community school with excellent staff members. I believe Mr. Weems serves his position well and sticks to a discipline policy as strictly as he can, which I appreciate greatly. B.E. has caring teachers that work well with the kids. B.E. was great in the 70`s and is great now, the only difference today is that the parents have changed. M.B.

Both of my children have attended Baileyton Elementary since their Kindergarten year and I've been very pleased with the overall experience. The teachers are very caring and cooperative with both the parents and students. B.E. has extended it's academic program over the past few years and boasts some phenominal reading scores. The music and arts program has been excellent in the past but seems to be struggling a bit this year. Parents are always made to feel welcomed and anytime I've had a problem I've felt very comfortable talking with Mr. Weems, the principal. The level of involvement of the entire staff is just remarkable and most importantly, I feel safe sending my children to school everyday.

I believe that Baileyton Elementary School has good and bad points. The good points are that they have good art and music classes. The bad points are that the teachers are not fair to the other children. That means that there are some students that get special activities, thats good for them , but for the other children it is not right. Because that child has worked harder than the child that is getting the special activities. Those children work harder in their homework, behavior, and respest. Than the other kids, another thing is it's teachers. They have quote 'pets' as I like to call them. It is not right ,cause the child that is a pet gets more advantages than the other students. Thats what I think about Baileyton Elementary School.
