Debusk Elementary is behind on education and have disbehaved students. I speak from experience. The teachers do NOT help the children with their work. I would rather drive my kids to the city schools and pay tuition. And that is exactly what I do.
My kids are in 2 and k and I thank very highly of Debusk and the teachers and all they have to offer.
I would love to say that the school is a all around good school. The people take care of each other and I know that I am not in the zone for that school, but I still drive to take my son there.
The teachers at DeBusk are really concerned about quality education. They really want to see our children be successful. They got a $300,000 grant in 2004 to increase technology use in our school. They really have some wonderful 'gadgets' to enhance learning! The sports teams are very well supported.
