This is a great school hidden amongst the big three cities that surround it (Kingston, Harriman, and Rockwood). The students are treated with respect and love year in and year out. The teachers and staff are approachable and well suited for this community.
As a parent, I want to feel comfortable dropping my child off each morning at a school that creates a loving environment along with developing my child's educational opportunities. At Midtown, I have always felt this way, and feel blessed to have been able to walk into the building feeling welcome.
Couldn't be happier with my son's time at Midtown Elementary! The teachers are welcoming to parents and their leadership has been wonderful!
Awesome school. This school is on the right track. They are so involved with the community and their after-school program is a great opportunity for their students to participate in activities not covered through the curriculum (karate, exercise crews, photography, kid's kitchen, foreign languages, art, etc.)
Midtown has been a dream come true for us! Our daughter comes home everyday telling us what a great school and teacher she has...I wouldn't want to have her anywhere else.
Great school! I always feel welcome when I enter Midtown! My children love their teachers and the PE teacher there is awesome!
This has to be the best elementary school in the county. My kids can't wait to come to school in the mornings and the teachers there are always so nice and welcoming.
We had both of our children go through Midtown and couldn't be happier. Everyone from the teachers to the cafeteria workers are so nice. I don't have anything bad to say about our experience at MTES. The only thing my kids complained about was not being able to go to PE more often.
My son is enrolled in Midtown Elementary School. And it is amazing how much the teachers and principal go above and beyond their call of duty. My son was having behavior problems at the first of the year, So we all met and come up with a plan and he is now a straight A student. Hi teacher has even took time out of her evening and even called me at home and gave me her home # if I needed to talk to her. Thanks Midtown!
A parent of 2 children here i am very pleased with all that my children have accomplished. No one teacher can be excluded in how well my girls have done. One was in special ed. Program until the 5th grade and was graduated from that program and i am very pleased at the way the teachers were able to help her to learn how to accomplish what she must to get from point a to point b. Thank you midtown elementary. You are the greatest of all.
