IMPRESSIVE! That is Ruby Major in one word. I see teachers & staff involved with the students and their parents. I see children who enjoy learning: respecting their teachers and valued by their teachers. I see my grandsons involved in education, and I see the parents proud and participating--knowing Ruby Major produces "10"'s every day.

This is an excellent school! We have very much enjoyed the school years so far and will add another K to it this upcoming year. My child is very excited to go to school. My oldest is very much looking forward to being back there. Amazing watching your children grow leaps and bounds under such good teachership!

I love my daughter's kindergarten teacher. She is very well organized and works well with the students. There seems to be a sense of community at this school. A litte boy in my daughter's class had major surgery and a note was sent home to parents asking them (if they wanted to) to donate money to the family. I was very happy to do so ! I also think the school is very clean and inviting !

The teachers at Ruby Major are amazing! They truly care for the kids and go the extra mile. I'm not as impressed by the principal. I've had kids in this school since the doors opened six years ago, and the one issue that has continually been a problem is the cafeteria. The office secretary who primarily monitors the cafeteria humiliates children regularly and seems to genuinely dislike them. The issue hasn't been corrected even though parents have voiced concerns year after year.

My son started Kindergarten there this year and I am so delighted with the school. The PTO works diligently and with such dedication conducting fundraisers to assist the school in every way possbile. My son's teacher is excellent and her experience with kindergartners (she has been a kindergarten teacher for 30 yrs) is phenomenal. She is very particular in her goal of working with each child and making sure they succeed. Everyone is always so friendly and willing to help if you have questions about the cirruiculum or anything else. Just a wonderful place.

My daughter started kindergarten late last year. She was adopted at age 5 and started kindergarten after being with our family for a few weeks. The principal and staff were great at working with me before the adoption to have pictures of her teacher and the school so she would see the school she would be attending. They were great at easing her into the class. She was in an ELL class and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. My daughter loved going to school because of her teacher and the staff there.

My kids love going to Ruby Major. They looked forward to going to school every day, and when the school year ended, they expressed how much they will miss their friends and teachers. Contrary to the other reviewers, however, my experience with the teachers and staff was not so pleasant. They were consistently rude and condescending, and seemed to be selective in who they spoke to. Whenever I visited the school office, I could always expect to be ignored, even if I made the first greeting. Getting information and having my questions answered were also a trying task. Either they would talk at me, or give me vague answers to my questions. I won't say that this is not a great school, but I am taking this summer to find a school where the staff is great at accommodating both the students AND the parents.

This is an excellent school both academically and in regards to parent/teacher/principal/student relationships. I see the principal every morning as she welcomes students. The teachers and the pricipal are accessible, knowledgeable and everyone at the school genuinely cares about the students.

I think the staff at Ruby Major are truly stellar. I can't imagine a more caring or professional group of teachers. They strive to help each child reach his or her potential - not just academically, but with regard to character and respect too. My daughter loves her teacher and we've had a great experience so far.
