I have been very happy with the school thus far. I volunteer at the school and have enjoyed working with the staff and teachers. They are all a joy and you can tell the teachers are very dedicated to their job.
This is a wonderful rural schoo. The teachers and faculty are absolutely wonderful. They have a closeness with the children and the parents that most schools would envy. This is a small but very fast growing place. There are more children coming in on a yearly basis causing this to no longer be a small school. They have added outside trailers to accomodate all of the new children. The coach is fantastic and wonderful with the children. All teachers act as crossing guards and help with the loading and unloading of children everyday. Children that go here know that they are cared for my everyone here. Extra time is spent if needed and you hardly find this being done anymore. Everytime my daughter moves from one home to another she makes sure, I mean absolutely sure that the children will still be able to attend Hillsboro School. They are wonderful and even though it is a rural school they have a computer for the children to have computer lab. Sure the children must take turns and get just 5 or 10 minutes on the computer, but they have one. They are being taught to surf the net and find answers to questions. This school deserves to be winner.
My great-grand children go to this school. They are very well taught.I commend the teachers for their care and teaching of my great grand children. The children are learning so much at this school..The children are very bright and well informed. Thanks to the teachers and faculty for caring so much..
This school has quality teachers and programs. I had to children who attended and I was pleased with the results. The only complaint I had was how often the children where watching movies in class.
I have 2 chrildren that attend hillsboro elem. school.they love it and so do both me and my husband. they have a kind loving staff that always has a helping hand to offer.
I think overall the school is excellent. I would like to see more emphasis on math, and more resources for the students who are struggling with it. Other than that, I think it is excellent.
Great teachers and community. The building needs updating and there could be an art class and more involved computer class. Overall a great school!
I had 2 children attend Hillsboro Elementary and I absolutely LOVED the school! The teachers were great and worked with the kids so well! I would definitely recommend this school to anyone! A very great community to live in as well!
The teachers are very friendly and know all the students by name whether they have had them in class or not. We are a small community that has low taxes and not much funding for schoo. But we have local fund raisers and the parents flock to the school to participate. And somehow the if the school needs it then it's provided. We have a great scouts club involvement for both boys and girls.
