This school is a joke, the bullies are allowed to hurt the kids and when the kids defend themselves they are punished for it, and the bullies are not. When the kids try to tell the teacher they are being bullied they are told not to tattle. How is that good teacher and principal leadership?

Fairview is one, if not the best school in the county. The leadership is high quality and the students are encouraged to excel in their studies. Different programs are always being offered to help low achieving students. One reason some of the students don't achieve is their home environment. Another is the lack of discipline at home to encourage their child to study more. It's always easier to blame the school and it's teachers rather than take responsibility for ones own actions or lack thereof. Support the school and staff because they work very hard trying to educate the students.

The school continualy looks for different ways to help all children learn. Respect for all, students, parents, and teachers is prominent in the school. The school is the center of the community. Parent involvement is outstanding.

Fairview School is one of the best schools in the county. The principal works hard to achieve the highest standards as well as the teachers. Students are encouraged to do their best and study hard. If there is a problem with learning, it doesn't come from the teachers part. Learning begins at home. Many students are not encouraged to study enough at home to make passing grades. There is good leadership within the school.

Fairview is one of the lowest achieving schools in the county. Scoring second lowest in reading and third lowest in math is nothing to brag about. Our experience with sports (basketball) was very upseting.

Fairview is the best school in Scott County. The faculty and staff are very friendly and the students are really well behaved. Fairview has excellent scores on state tests and the premier athletic program of Scott County.
