The teachers, staff, and the principal know my children and our community. It is like having my children in a private school without the cost. The teacher, staff, and principal really care the children. Everyone here goes above and beyond to help the students to be the best they can be. I wish I had attended this school and I wish all schools could be like this one.

Gap Creek is small with one of each grades K - 5th. The faculty and staff work very hard to help all the students. They develop fun contests to encourage and excite the students about reading and all learning. This is one of the happiest schools I have ever been in.

My 5th grade daughter's class has 10 students. I love the teacher and feel that all students get plenty of attention and I know my daughter is learning and doing great! My other daughter is in kindergarden and there are 16 kids I think. Seems great with the teacher and her helper there. She is learning a lot. I do wish there were more activities at their school though.

I have two children in this school. I feel like I have stepped back in time. Back to when teachers cared about their students. They have alot of one on one time with each child in these small classrooms. They may be small but they are not lacking in anything. Music, art and sports are available. Parent involvement is welcomed and appreciated. It feels like one big family!
