I am a grandmother and the worst thing I noticed last year about smg school was how times have changed and teachers personaility have changed.Unconcerned and unfriendly when you first come in the office, the staff is labled unfriendly by several people that go there. The graduation that I witnessed last year was awful with children sitting on the floor and chairs were behind the curtain on stage which is where the children should have been.,and no cap and gowns.Even if funding is tough parents were willing to rent the caps and gowns for 1 day,it was for the kindergarden children and their entering into 1st grade should have been better, it was a big disappointment for many parents..I hope this year will be better,I did go to look for the principle and of course he wasnt there and assistant was in a meeting while graduation was going on.Hope this school improves, and h ope they will be rated at least a five and not a 1 soon.

My son has been at this school for 2 1/2 years. He is told by the teacher in frount of the class that he is worthless and will never amount to anything. The staff at the office cant keep track of meeting and whom is to be at those meetings. The teachers that he has had have been unable to control their classes and keep the kids on task. I feel that this is the worst school in Knox county and if I could I would transfer him out.

Proud To Represent Sarah Moore Greene I would like to express my thoughts to the administration. What a wonderful team working together to make changes for the better of our children, staff, parents and most of all the safety of Sarah Moore Greene. The staff is very concerned, warmhearted and caring. Don't mine going the extra mile. I personally would like to thank Project Grad for all the time, concern, and effort they put back into the community and keeping the dream alive with our Boy Scout Troop. In conclusion, I am proud to be a staff member at Sarah Moore Greene Elementary Magnet School.
