Liek the last commenter, I too attended this school in the 90's. I loved it, and now that I am grown and have children of my own, they love it too. The staff are amazing, and a few of the teachers I loved the most are still there, 20+ years later. With all the extracurricular activites and wellrounded student schedules, Spring Hill is wonderful. I couldn't imagine a better school for children to attend.
I attened this school in 1992 and 1993. I can say now that this is the very best school I've seen, including all those that I cheered at over the years. The principals are involved, and being a good person is greatly encouraged in all the students. The teachers really care that their kids get ahead in life!
My son was enrolled at Hardin Valley due to my work situation. He hated going there...it was a fight every morning. We moved to this area....and he is like a completely different child....At first I didn't think he would adjust or like the school, but he is actually happy to go to school now!! We love it!!!
I admit that was hesitant to send my children here based on the Great Schools rating. We have had only positive experiences at this school and I am so glad that we are part of the Spring Hill family.A few of my favorite things: it's easy to contact teachers, the children get positive reinforcement, the art projects are amazing, the smart boards in the classrooms are cool, and there are sessions for parents so you can learn about what your children are studying. Most importantly, my kids come home happy each day.
MY KIDS GO HERE AND THE TEACHERS AND STAFF ARE GREAT MY KIDS LOVE THE SCHOOL
This is a wonderful school! The way the teachers really care about the students is amazing. They encourage love and understanding and the importance of cooperating with each other to accomplish a goal. The curriculum is good and is geared per child not per classroom. Also, the principal and v.p. are completely involved with student body and the curriculum. I was impressed that they stand in the hall to correct the children's behavior, but they also give out little gold pieces of paper that say 'I was caught doing the right thing'. I think that's wonderful. All in all a great school!
