RSE is an excellent school. The principal is wonderful with the students and a strong leader. The teachers are exceptional! They are caring and compassionate. The school offers a great learning environment for the students - the right mix of discipline and fun. Parents are respected and take an active role in the school. Overall, it is a great school. When looking for a new house, we purposefully moved to this school zone. I had once thought about home schooling my kids, but with RSE as a choice for a public school there is no reason. I am very proud to have my two children attend RSE.

My son goes to the Pre School class. He has learned so much this year! He also goes to speech therapy. You can't even tell that he has a speech problem anymore. Thanks Rock Springs Elementary!

I am very proud to say that my children attend RSE. The parent-teacher involvement is incredible. I have a 1st and 4th grader both of whom amaze me everyday with the things that they've learned and I wouldn't trade the education they're receiving for anything.

Our son started kindergarten this year at RSE. We seriously searched and researched schools thru-out the area. Not knowing much about this school other than what we saw on a tour, we were impressed. After this year with Ms. Blackburn, we knew we'd made the best decision. Our son thrived in his 1st year of school and we couldn't have asked for more. The staff is great and we're looking forward to the remaining years at RSE.

We have two children in RSE (just finishing 4th grade and just finishing K) and we have been pleased with the school from the beginning. All of the teachers my kids have had have been fantastic. They care about my kids specific needs and sometimes go above and beyond the call of duty to try to make sure my kids needs are met.

Our son attends 1st grade at RSE. He has had an excellent year. This is our first year in TN. Our son is encouraged to do his best whether math, spelling, sciene or writing. His teacher Ms. Mitchell brings out the best in her student, encourages them to work hard, but at the same time expects them to not act or our disturb other students. When my son was being unmercifully teased at the beginning of the year because he is small, she put a stop to it immediately and the school did a class on bullying and teasing. My son loves this school is reading well and is a good studen all around. In fact, my family is looking for a home and our criteria of home location is based on being able to keep him zoned for RSE. GREAT JOB

This was my daughter's first year at this school, she is in the 3rd grade and has Mrs. Good as her teacher. Mrs. Good went out of her way to talk one on one with her during orientation and helped her overcome her anxiety of being the new kid. It is now the second semester and she is still enthusiastic about going to school everyday. She has remained an honor roll student every six weeks. I do wish they had a book club or more academic clubs for young children, though, as she had at her old school. Our first year has been very impressive and successful!

This school has done wonders for my son. He has Ms Short this year and is a blessing for him. She has built his self-confidence and made him believe that he can do it no matter what. I give so much credit to her and thanks to her.
