When we relocated to this area, we visited all the Loudon County Schools. The only elementary school that met our standards was Highland Park. They care about the children. We are very happy with our child's progress. We made the right choice.

Highland park Elementary is truly in a league of it's own. We have two children there and could not be happier. The hearts of the faculty and staff there are definately for the children and it shows.

Highland Park is a great school. I love working here. The faculty is super. We have a supportive principal and assistant principal. The support staff is outstanding. Our office personel is second to none. When you walk into HPE you feel like your home.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this HPE. I feel very comfortable leaving my kids with them each day. They know us by name and are so kind. I have only had one problem the whole time we have been there - total 4 years. The problem was handled professionally and satisfactorily by the principal. As with another reviewer, my oldest child also had Mrs. Trout. She also changed his life. He had some behavioral problems before he got in her class and she treated him with love and respect and completely changed his life. She was an answer to our prayers. She definitely is doing what she was called to do. God Bless you Mrs. Trout.

Highland Park Elementary is a small school where students, teachers, and administrators work together as a team to develop a lifelong love of learning. Both of my children attended this school and have moved on to North Middle. They were very well-prepared for middle school and have made straight As since leaving Highland Park. In fact, the overall TCAP scores of the students at Highland Park are always high. Communication and parent involvement are also strengths. Finally, the teachers and administration focus on making decisions based on what is best for the students. It is obvious to me that Highland Park provides students with a quality education while also developing them socially and emotionally. Highland Park is a top-notch school!!

Unbelievable staff... cannot say enough good about this wonderful school. The quality of education is high, and the staff is spectacular. Standard safety precautions implemented are immeasurable.

I have a daughter who moved from a big city to HPE, and the staff is absolutely fabulous! If you have a chance to enroll your child in this school consider them blessed. Especially if they have Mrs. Trout! She changed my childs life. The most wonderful teacher you can imagine. And the rest of the staff is terrific too.

I have two children, one that has left HPE and moved on to North Middle, and one that is in 4th grade. In comparison to other schools and parent comments, I feel blessed to be able to send my kids to HPE. The teachers are great, very concerned and involved with the students. The administration and staff are very kind and considerate to my children as well as to me. I would highly recommend HPE to anyone just moving to the area or who is looking to transfer their child from one Loudon County school to another.
