Chadwekk Elementary has a great learning environment for students with a caring and dedicated principal and staff. The school has seen test scores rising with the addition of a new Reading Specialist and the implementation of new reading strategies based on the very latest research on learning. The school has very little discipline problems even though it is a Title 1 school. The staff has many male teachers in 2-4 grades, something that is rare to find in the elementary level. Afterschool daycare is provided at the school, a tutoring program and homework club, afterschool chorus, and cub scouts and girl schout troups. The school has a new large gym, new computers in each classroom, a large library, and three playrounds. Outdoor recess time is encouraged for the students. Chadwell is a great place to go to school!
