3rd grade teacher last year was a bully. She would call out kids on their incorrect answers on assignments in front of the whole class (amongst many other things). If you get her, report her. She is still working there. However, most teachers are caring, forgiving, nice, and love the kids.

I have had nothing but great results from the staff and principal at MIS.My oldest daughter is in Middle School now and she misses this school so much that she goes back to spend the day when possible. My 3rd grader absolutely loves it here and I am very happy with the staff and how this school runs.

This staff does care about each child. Often, it is the stress of the state's 'high scores or your fired' mandate that restricts some talented teachers from doing what they know best - teach. I would send my child there, without question. The principal is always willing to listen to parents. Have you given that a try yet? I hope your child's year gets better!

The staff at this school seem to have forgotten that kids matter. Its not just a paycheck people, you need to care about these kids, and care what input these kids parents have. My child is a completely different, unrecognizable little girl now that she goes to MIS.
