I work at St. Peter Villa (right next to Catholic High). We have some of their students doing the work-study program here at the Villa. What a fine group of students! This program allows teenagers to experience day to day life in a work environment. It teaches them how to act, dress, and interact in the work place. Great school!

The small class sizes with caring instructors challenge the students to consider 'the possible' for their futures.

It is a school like no other in Memphis. Each student gets very practical work experience in a job set up for them by the school. This job helps pay their tuition while at the same time boosting their resume for their future. All this in addition to a top notch learning environment where the kids are safe, loved, and taught christian values. They are learning in a 'hands on way' what the corporate community expects from them if they want to be successfully employed in the future.

I like Memphis Catholic because it offers real life career experience to all students as well as a full academic curriculum, in a positive community atmosphere.

The school provides a great education to inner city kids and teaches them how to be professionals in the work place.

I came from a public school with over 1400 students. I felt like I was just another waste of space. Most of the administration only knew you if you have done something wrong. Here at Catholic, it does take some adjusting, but you learn to deal with it after awhile. I can honestly say that I really didn't want to go here, but I am glad I did. I met a new best friend/sister and came closer to a familiar face. I got involved with the differnt events and programs around the school. The Education That Works Program can get in the way of extra activities that us teenagers have, but from my experience, I have became extremely close to my work sponsers and even do volunteer work for them during the summer. I don't feel like a number anymore; I feel apart of a family.

My first impression of the school was great! I enrolled my child based on the reputation of the school, however I am very displeased with the education or maybe I need to say the lack of education that my child has received this year. The teacher are not well organized and although promised the grades are not entered in a timely fashion. The school lacks discipline and I have seen questionable behavior when visiting the school. The classroom is overcrowded for private school.
