I have never been more sure that Christ the Rock is the school for my children. My children are learning at excellerated rates and loving every moment of it. The principal and staff are great and I highly recommend this school to others.

This school has been exceptional. The children love it and are learning agressively. There is a loving atmosphere and the A Beka curriculum challenges the children in positive ways. The staff is great and supportive.

Since my children have been going to Christ the Rock, they have been learning at accelerated rates. They retain so much and are excited about school. The principal and staff are attentive to the children and parents and try to make sure every need is met.

This school is just as bad as Memphis City and County Schools. On several occasions they applied my childs payments to the wrong account and called me at home and work several times threatening to throw my child out of school for non-payment. Its almost impossible to contact any other staff other than the two ladies in the front office. The school seems very unstable. My child has attended for 3 years and will not be returning for a 4yr. I think that there are other schools within this same price range that are TWO times better. Don't stop looking here, its not worth the money.

This schools falls behind the county schools cirriculum. The staff is very unprofessional. The director doesn't have a clue and she never returns calls. They have a few good teachers. However, given the money we spent on tuition, aftercare, and meals you would think that all of the teachers would be excellent and have degrees. This is suppose to be a private school not public school.

My child has attended CTRCA since pre-K. Now she's in the Second grade. She loves it and the teachers are excellent. It's money well invested.

I attended CTR since Pre K, and I think it was an acceptional learning environement. I know attend another school for my eigth-gradde year. I am a straight A student in all AP courses available. The school has its issues, however, just like every other on. Unfortunately, the 7th and 8th grade classes were. MLMJ.

My son has attended ctrca since prek 4. All I can say is the teachers are caring and give the individual attention needed to each student. I look forward to my son attending this school through the eighth grade. He will be in the second grade fy08-09.

I think Christ the Rock is a good school but I agree that they fall behind with middle school students. They don't have ACT/SAT workshops, updated technology for computer labs, science labs nor other resources that you find at public/private schools in town. Parents have become aware of the problem & started changing schools after elementary. At least that makes individual attention more possible because there are less than 9 students per middle school grade. Mrs. Swihart, the principal, is a sweetheart. I attend the church and I support the Academy; but it could use an overhaul.

My 3 children went to CTRCA through 8th grade and then transferred to a county high school. Each of them had a 3.5 gpa or higher and I know CTRCA prepared them for high school and beyond. They made friends with their peers and their teachers. The ABeka curriculum gave them a strong foundation. We would do it all over again because of the great experience we had.
