Academic focus and philosophy

Educational philosophy and approach to learning As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, Lausanne's academic curriculum is vertically aligned year to year and subject to subject, giving students more breadth and depth in the learning process. The school is currently scheduled to become the 19th school nationwide to receive PK through 12th grade International Baccalaureate accreditation in the fall of 2018. Building blocks of the IB Diploma Programme can be seen across the Lower, Middle and Upper School.

English Language Learner program details Lausanne Collegiate School's English as an Additional Language Program (EAL) program is dedicated to supporting students who need to learn English and to helping them with their classes at Lausanne. The program provides one-on-one tutoring to all students as needed and has full-immersion classes for students in the Upper School who are learning English as a second language.
