Avon Lenox School is a wonderful school for our special children. Our children are in a very safe and supportive school. They have workbase learning and go into community to learn how to behave and sometimes eat properly. They have boy scouts and girl scouts. They have a wonderful P.E. program. They learn to communicate. A nurse is available for children who are medically fragile. Our principal, Mrs. Larry, supports the children, staff, and parents. She is always available to parents for PTO or to address concerns. At SACS review it is the only school to recieve exemplary scores in all areas with a recommendation to train other schools. It is a great school for children.
