the school and some of the administration do not display fairness from the get go and make assumptions without gather all information. unfair to make one cild subject to consequences for any of the other 200 kids in that grade

i was alarmed to find out about their new adopted policy of no fighting which is great, but what bothers me is the entire grade is punished or isolated and segregated from participating in the extra fun day activities for a handful of students that find it necessary to have a physical altercation. if any students for that particular grade has an altercation then that stops the entire grade from participating in said activities. i do not think that any childs should be responsible for another child's behavior or choices. you punish or discipline the ones that are involved. i have a fourth grader who has never been in trouble and she was re-framed from participating because someone she didn't even know , got into a fight. If this is a case then one teacher acts unprofessional then i should hold all the teachers responsible, or if one principal commits a crime then all of the principals should be held to consequences or if i as a parent of a child in the school decides to commit a crime then all the parents of children there should face consequences because you couldn't control my behavior. NOOOOOOO!!!! this is ridiculous and not thought through..... lets put a spin on it and say if several students get to fighting then the principal and teachers do not get paid for that month, or if students fight then they do not get to have the teams for sports participate for an entire moth with scheduled matches...... better yet lets say if kids fight there then the school board and director of schools will not receive their salary for a month!!!! this sounds insane but this is what they are doing to these children. children need to be responsible for their own actions and i believe this is what we teach our children but yet this school wants a student in that particular grade to assume responsibility for JIM JAMES PAUL AND TYRONE and their behavior and if they mess up then said child receives consequences when they may have been no where around!!!!!!! tell me what you think

this is the worst school ever and the most strict school , there is no freedom what so ever ! the principal gets people in trouble all the time for the LITTLEST things , they care more about an untucked shirt than education if u can , DO NOT send your child here they will hate it ! SO STRICT

This is an amazing school! You get weekly emails from the principal and teachers about the upcoming week. The teachers are loving and provide a great education for the kids. The principal is amazing and loves his job. The schools mission is to feel loved and respected and to have 100 percent customer satisfaction. Treating others the way you would want to be treated is another big deal at Marshall. There are many activities year round. There are too many to list. A lot of them are lead by the kids. No new good idea is ever turned down. The teachers and principal encourage a lot of community service and having a giving spirit. If you want to go to a school with that strong community feel and a great education with a loving staff this is the school for you.

My son went to this school for just about 1 year before I moved and yanked him out. My child is a military son, therefore the school made money just by having him there. From the 1st day of 6th grade there were issues. There were fights at the bus stop and on the bus, the bully's on the bus and in the school were just allowed to act like idiots. My complaints went ignored. My child was told to suck it up. The school did not honor their commitments to the children or to the parents! I believe that the principals unfairly handled every situation placed in front of them. This was extremely unfair for the children who did try and attended everyday, and for the teachers who actually tried, but had to deal with unruly/ criminal children.

I think that John F. Kennedy @ Marshall is a good school. But they have a lot of striked rules there. My daughter goes there, she said that she doesn't like having to tuck in her shirt all the time. I have been there once with my child and. But on the other hand it can be a good school for our children
