In the Metropolitan Nashville Public School District (MNPS) you have the option to attend a school in your attendance zone or any school in the district, provided the school has space and that you apply during the Open Enrollment period in March. In addition students may attend charter or magnet schools in the district.Under the federal No Child Left Behind law, students attending a Title I school designated as “in need of improvement” have the right to attend a higher-performing school in the district.
