Anything this small town school may not have, they sure make up for it with the greatest staff and the children are really cared for concerning their needs & their education is first for the entire staff. I would call it the greatest school my children have ever attended
Hermitage Spring School is wonderful! Yes, it is a small school setting with around 232 students from Pre K-8, but the atmosphere is fantastic! The parents take extra time, before and after school hours to help the children. That dedication has helped this school to rise above the rest and excel in all areas. During my twenty years of being in the education field, I have had many opportunities to observe all of the school districts in the Upper Cumberland, and Hermitage Spring School is a school that shines above the rest!
Fantastic teachers who are truly dedicated. Multi-level student body allow for the development of lifelong mentorship and friends.Strong sense of community and good honest moral values are the foundation of this K-12 school. Principal Cherry provides fair and balanced distribution of appropriate discipline. Mr. Tim McClerran is quit possibly the greatest math teacher in the region. Dedicated to a tradition of producing top quality, well rounded students ready to be productive citizens in todays society. At Hermitage Springs we are all family.
