Robbins has such a wonderful atmosphere. The faculty is wonderful and very supportive. The parents are the best this County has to offer. They want what is best for their kids and for this wonderful school. The kids are great. They have such enthusiasm in everything they do and want to achieve at the highest level in academics and athletics. The best part about the school is the family atmosphere from parents, students, teachers, and all others that are involved, the love and support for one other comes from everybody involved. GO HAWKS!
I love Robbins School because it has a family atmosphere. The teachers and students truely care about one another.
I have six children and all have attended RES. I wish more parents would take the incentive to get involved. Our school needs so much, thank goodness that part of the school is getting torn down and re-built. Since my parents graduated high school at this same school, it is also over 100 years old. Parents, please, please, take the initiative to get active in your childrens lives. This is such a poor community, we need to educate the children, and give them hope and dreams so they can be the future leaders and educators of other generations to come.
I am a stundent at RES I am in the 8th grade and I have to say Robbins is a great school. The extacurricular programs are awsome. I love them. I play soccer & Basketball. The parent involvement is huge. Everything our school does we all ways have parent vol. As far as academic goes it is great. Our teachers take it very hard. For my comment about Robbins Elem. it is a great school and, I am glad I go there.
Robbins is a great area to live, but the Scott County School System is failing to meet the needs of the students at Robbins Elementary. The State of Tennessee has came in and told them numerous times to get rid of the bat problem at Robbins, but the Director of Schools has done nothing to fix it. The academic programs are not to standards in the Kindergarden and first grade classes. This goes back to the Director of Schools, because the other county schools don't have these problems (other than the highly qualified status). The principal at Robbins is doing an excellent job, she just doesn't have any support from the Central Office. Robbins doesn't even have new books, they get the other county schools old ones.
