Rutledge High School seems like it has alot to offer,but unless you are in a certian social group you will find talent means nothing. There's a problem with drugs, which causes an unsafe atmosphere. Parent/ teacher communication is very low. There is a resentment felt on both sides which carries on through the students. Teachers do not feel that moral examples should be set by them. Expectations of students are very low in some classes. Childern are not taught to strive for excellence and childern are not held acountable for their actions.(Some teachers are not either)If I had any pluses for the school it would be the music program, which out of all of the extra curricular programs is the only one that seems to show no favoritism and allows the childs talent to control if a child should compete for the school. Also the new track team seems unbiased.
