We love this school. The faculty is wonderful. Everyone works so well together. The teachers and staff care so much about the kids. From food to pe it is great. My son feels so loved and cared about. The classes are small and that is what I like. It is just like a big family. Our principal is wonderful and he really cares about the kids. The front office staff is always so helpful and nice. I am really glad we chose this school for our kids. Go Wildcats!

We just moved to TN from GA. My children were attending a large school district. I had some concerns about the smaller school. Let me tell you, those were put to rest the first day of school! Everyone there is so nice and willing to help. I don't think the community could ask for a better place for their children.

I love Wearwood Elementary and I feel very fortunate that my boys have the opportunity to attend. I am so impressed by the small class sizes. My oldest son has ADD and I think the attention he gets really makes a difference. I also enjoy that with a small school, communication with the teachers and staff is much easier.

wearwood is a pretty good school over all most of the teachers are great and there is alot of one on one time with each student because the classes are smaller . As for the principal leadershipit is very very low lets just leave it at that. enough said i do believe . if your child is the least bit indifferent be prepared for them to be put through alot because children and parents are not very open about certain things . all everyone is worried about is sports who cares !!!!!!!!!!! thanks hope u like my review

I went to wearwood and my son goes now, its a great school, my only complaint is not enough sports or physical things for the kids, the same complaint we had as children here, they can participate in pigeon forges programs but who wants to play ball for another school?

I am the grandmother of a student new to Tennessee and Wearwood in the 2006-07 year. Any concern I had regarding a new school was immediately put to rest by the fantastic staff and principal at Wearwood. The year was a tremendous success in terms of education and social development thanks to the exceptional and caring people working in all aspects of the school. The class sizes are typically much smaller than most public school classes. The individual attention and care each student receives is excellent. I would highly recommend Wearwood School.

This is a small school with great teacher support. Each student is very important to the school and the faculty and staff show the children how important they really are. The school has 13 new computers in their library which are used by the students. Extracurricular activities include basketball and volleyball and the coaches for these sports are very dedicated. Students from 3rd through 8th can participate in basketball. The 4th grade team won the championship this year and the girls volleyball team won honors also. Parent involvement is low, but the parent support group is working to improve that situation. I feel that most parents need a little boost to get involved and this being a tourist area a lot of the parents work strange hours and have trouble getting out to functions during the Fall and Spring.
