im a student at Sequoyah. i hated red bank. i dreaded getting up in the mornings, now i jump out of bed and cant wait to get to school. for kids like me that learn with their hands, instead of being in a regular class room, Sequoyah, is or will be your home away from home. im taking auto mechanics with mr newby and i have grown very close to him i look at him like a father, and being a female in the mechanics felid is hard but mr newby is always incouraging and have hope and believes n me and i have learned alot and now im a better mechanic than most guys in my class. i wish the county wouldnt look down on us. or other schools or parents at that.
I went to Sequoyah last year and it's an awesome school. The classes offered teach you trades that will set you up for life after high school no matter if you choose to go to college or go to work. I majored in Auto Mechanics and Motorsports. Nothing like working on race cars all day.
I am a former student of Sequoyah High School and it has changed my life dramatically. Before attending sequoyah I was failing classes, and felt like there was no point in trying. I am now a junior and for the 3rd year nowmaking straight A's. January I take my state boards to get certified as a nursing assistant. This school is amazing along with the teachers and staff.
It's a student friendly school. It has great teachers that go over and beyond to help the students.
I love being at Sequoyah. The teachers actually spend one on one time with you, and it's like my second home! I've never experienced anything like it, the help teachers give, the comfortable atmosphere in a school, and just how much I've learned can't compare to the other schools I've been to, where I learned nothing and failed many classes. This school is the best.
This is an EXCELLENT school with EXCELLENT leadership, administration, and programs. Sequoyah High School offers educational opportunities which prepare the student for immediate entry to college and the workplace simultainiously. Every school should model itself after this one.
Don't close this school we love the way the teachers teach and how they will take the time to help your child. When the schools are way to full there's nothing but trouble they hold down trouble at this school and my son likes this school for this reason also he. Don't take this school away.
Shs is a great shool for now until the put sdh in with it. I beleive it want be the same they will have to much drama going on then when you have alot of kids in one school.I think that's why these kids are learning alot because the teachers can learn them alot better without alot of kids.As a parent I think this is gonna be a bad ideal.
What a wonderful school this is. The teachers are great. They show my child that they really care about him as a person not a number. They are positive not negative about their students learning. My child has excelled since he has been at SHS.Thank you staff!!!!
my child loves this school and the teachers are great and also likes the studnets
