I am a former student in this school. There are a few teachers who are good and smart, trying to help their students actually learn, but most of them are not as smart as they should be. The students provide a rough community, and it's one of those small-town school where, if you don't already know everyone, they generally shun you. The principal is inept, and most of the staff members use grammar that is foul. It doesn't set a good example if you care about your childs education or well-being. However, if you wish for your child to be nurtured into a heathen, this would be a good choice.

East Jr. High is an excellent school. The teachers are great and I actually learn there. I recommend it to all children in the 6th-8th grade.

As a parent of children attending East Junior High School, I must say that this year has already gotten off to a good start. I expect positive thing to happen because of the increase in school pride with the students, and morale, seemingly; among teachers and staff. Our administration is doing a great job as well as the scholars and student atheletes.

East has been through so much as far as reputation goes. Us students here at Easthave doin our part to gain a better reputation. You may hear everyone put us down because of the way we were in past years and the way and the school was ran. But now (and last year)we have a better principle, teachers, and we as students are getting better. The teachers provide before and after school tutoring so we can past the test that the state provides for us. We are really trying our best to get better. Just wait we'll be one of the best schools there is. -Kelly Jenkins
