The school lacks communication with parents/caregivers about siginificant events such as school functions and or parent meetings. How else can parental involvement become more apparent if not given the proper tools to communicate with? I believe that if more parents/caregivers were involved in school activities and functions, then students would see and know they are supported in their educational endeavor and the school would benefit from this support as well.

What happen to communicating with parents? This school had a dance last Friday and the parents did not know anything about it. The school did not send out any information on this event so unless the students talked about it, the parents were uninformed. This school should be using the automated information system that calls parents' home numbers notifying them of school events just as the elementary schools have used in the previous school year. Who is responsible? I believe the school's administration beginning with the principal.

THESE IS A GREAT SCHOOL,AND THE TEACHERS ARE WONDERFUL.I THINK THEY DESERVE BETTER RECOGNITION FROM THE PARENTS AND THE GOVERNMENT.
