Nancy smith elementary school is an incredible jewel in this small town. I have 4 kids. 2 Currently in elementary, one just moved to the junior high and one goes to k next year. We are more than pleased with the teachers, the staff and the administration. They are wonderful and in my humble opinion my kids are getting as good an education as can be attained anywhere in the nation. The basic subjects are excellent. The weakest section would have to be music/band, but it is still good. Nancy smith elementary was recognized as a blue ribbon school by the dept. Of education. One of only 26 campuses in texas.
