As a student of the 2013-2014 school year, Ereckson is an awesome school! It's safe, the teachers and students are nice, and the programs are excellent! I enjoyed my time there, and recommend the school to others!

Ereckson is one of the best schools in Allen and is almost comparable to a private school. Teachers are very dedicated and students are constantly encouraged to do their best .

The school is primarily base on your financial standard. The more money your children claim to haste more you get away with. Concealer Renee Perez bullied my child I frount if her entire class causing her to break down and no longer want to goto school. Most of the staff there is brilliant but I have to say they do need alot of work til I would be comfortable letting my other children go to this school.

Our child has enjoyed her two years at Ereckson Middle School! The school is technically advanced, offers exceptional opportunities to excel in your child's chosen field academically and competitive Orchestra, Band, Sports and Arts. The staff, teachers and counselors are amazing, they listen and have the experience and skills to encourage exceptional solutions. The school enrollment is large but inside each student is treated as unique and special. Vice Principal Mr Jay Stafford, and counselors Kim Petty and Renae Perez are easy to talk too. Ereckson is secure on line friendly to obtain class assignments or email a teacher. They also have a Robictics Club, the only MIddle school allowed to compete at Contests designed for high schools. 5 star school!

Hi! I go to Ereckson Middle School is the best middle school a child could attend. I reccomend it BIG TIME the teachers are super helping and i feel so safe here! I hate not being at school and will cry so terribly the day we have to leave (:

Ereckson is a great school! It has a great football team. We won district!! But Most importantly the education.. Education is everything at ereckson. Every student is pushed to the best of their ability. And if they go here trust me they will learn more than they ever thought possible!

I go to Ereckson, and I can't even begin to describe how amazing it is. All the classes are sooo fun, but we learn a lot at the same time. It is almost immpossible to say that school is boring here. The building is off the chain. It is so much better than any other school I've ever been to. You're so free there.And the teachers are exccellent! I dread the day that I have to leave Ereckson.

I go to Ereckson and I can't describe how amazing this school is. The teachers work everyday to help us excel to our full potential. The parents and PTA are involved and help with the numerous extra circular activities. I couldn't ask for a better school.

I love teaching Algebra 1 at Ereckson. My students are amazing kids I look forward to seeing each day. Our Parents and PTA are a great support. My so-workers are dedicated and caring. My administration backs the teachers - but is always thinking about what is best for kids first! I love my job!

About the tests


In 2012-2013, the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) was used to test students in reading and math in grades 3 through 8; in writing in grades 4 and 7; in science in grades 5 and 8; in social studies in grade 8; and end-of-course assessments for English I, II, and II, Algebra I and II, biology and US History. STAAR is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Texas. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.

The different student groups are identified by the Texas Education Agency; if there are a small number of students in a particular group, the state doesn't report data for that group.
