My son has special needs and we have always felt welcome and included in all aspects of the school
I love Beverly Elementary because both of my kids learned 'how to learn' and were surrounded by teachers who cared about them as people instead of a number.
My children attend Beverly Elementary, and I have been thrilled with their education! The teachers go above and beyond to get to know each student's academic strengths and develop any areas of concern through individualized instruction. The entire school also encourages positive character development such as honor, integrity, courage, compassion, and determination. I truly feel Beverly is a partner in my raising well-rounded children.
I'm a student here at Beverly, and I feel like Beverly is one of the best schools I've ever been to. I mean c'mon, who doesn't want to be in awesome enviroment and around wonderful teachers and students?? Hats of to the Beverly Staff, and especially our principal, Mrs. Kirby! She keeps this great school up and running! She deserves that Blue Ribbon! Keep it up!
As a grandparent of two Beverly students (grades 1 and 4) I believe that they are getting the absolutely best education available in Texas. The leadership and teaching staff are to be commended for the outstanding commitment to ensuring success for each student, and for ensuring that important connection with each home. Sandra K. Ellington Grammy to Grayson Krumnow (grade 1) and Connor Krumnow (grade 4)
We have had children at Beverly Elementary for the last 7 years, and though we have not been very active with the volunteers and PTA (because we work)we have been at the school enough to see that it is very evident that the teachers and staff ALL care about ALL of the children. Yes, they do have high expectations, but they employ those expectations to all of their students. I have seen many parents that feel their child should be the exception to the rule and do not want their child held to the same standards. In today's world, I am grateful that our children are getting a quality education, not just for the elementary years, but to help prepare them for life. Keep it up Beverly!
We moved to this neighborhood because we had heard good things about Beverly. If you happen to get a good teacher the year goes by beautifully, but if you get a teacher that does not like your child, or is too inexperienced to run a classroom with discipline then the principal is not much help. We have had two great years at Beverly and two horrible years at Beverly...I hope we have another Great year this year. My only suggestion for new parents would be to monitor the teachers and keep up with them to make sure your child is being treated fairly and without prejudice.
Great school. Exemplary rating. Now nominated a blue ribbon school. Good teachers. Supportive environment.
Great school. Principal is a really nice lady.
Beverly is a wonderful school with excellent programs. From gifted and talented to special education, all of the staff I have observed are professional, caring, and truly love working with my child. I am very pleased with this school.
