We live in Friendswood and should be in Clear Lake ISD but do not like the set up. We picked Hood Case based on teachers and staff. This school is wonderful and great with the children. Hood Case was the only school that we felt could continue teaching our daugther in the way we started here at home.
This is a great school that encourages academic progress of the students. The teachers really care about your child becoming the best!
I think Hood Case Elementary is a wonderful school. All four of my children have enjoyed going there. The teachers were caring and attentive and did their best to help them. My daughter was in 2006-2007 5th grade class, one parent blames the 5th grade teachers, but I feel they were doing their best. There were badly behaved children in the class, but the teachers were trying to get parent support from those students and they were receiving none.
Hood-Case Elem. School is the best school with great teachers and staff.
I have to say that Hood-Case is a good school until your child hits 5th grade. My son has attended since 2nd grade and we loved it, till this year. The 5th grade teachers have no control over their classes and the curriculum, if there is one, is horrid! My nephew is in 6th grade and it is the same for him. Not impressed any more.
Absolutely not impressed with the school at all my child has attended Hood-Case for 3 years now. The teachers do not have the patience nor do they have the compassion that it takes to teach a child. I m not saying that this is the character for all the teachers, but my son has had several bad experiences at this school.
Fabulous school! Very friendly and welcoming teachers...my daughter did great on her TAKS and is getting a great education and still having fun while learning. The teachers are very supportive and encourage parental involvement.
Hood-Case is a great school, with alot of young vibrant teachers. My children have loved all their teachers and they have made elementary a easier experience. They are always in need of parent volunteers but who isnt.
