This school is horrible, I have never had so many problems with my child before this school, it's so hard to get in touch with the principle, he never calls back or answers any questions. The rules are a big joke, the kids don't seem to take serious. So many fights go on here and drugs are a big issue too. I can't wait for this year to be over!

My daughter was assulted at school within the 1st month of school by a boy. The school will not do anything about it and the police on school property are no help. The boy admitted to it and we want to press charges bit they wont do it JUST give him a ticket!! 6 fights already at that school... Pulling my child out within the week!!

Barnett Jr. High School, is more than just a school of academic instruction. This school is a family of parents, teachers, and students who have come together from around the area to mak a positive name for this school The principal is caring. The students are grounded in knowledge, skills, and background experience, which prepares them for high school, and other obstacles foreseen in the academic layout.

I personally think this school is great. We were hurricane evacuees from New Orleans and Texas education is far better than ours but I think my daughter has gained a lot considering the short time she has attended,we are back in New Orleans. My husband and I are planning to return and would like our daughter to attend Barnett.
