Brockett Elementary is the ultimate school for children K-5. The principal, counselor, and teachers are among the finest educators in the State of Texas. There is a genuine care about children and they are put students first. Individual needs are met as well as the environment being warm and enthusiastic. The principal is always smiling and present every morning during their Morning Assembly where students are recognized for being awesome. This a caring school for children. The teachers work hard to prepare lessons that children receive to prepare them for every day life. I couldn't be more pleased to have my children in this school. I give the principal five stars, the counselor five stars, and the faculty five stars. Brockett puts "Children First"! They don't talk about it, they DO IT!!!!!
I have lived in TWELVE states, put my kids in many schools due to job moves, and worked at schools in five states. This school and the staff deserve TEN stars! They are awesome! It starts at the top. The principal is SO supportive of the staff and is always "about the kids". Every morning she has a segment called "caught you doing something good". Tell me THAT doesn't make a great impression on the students! The teachers are so upbeat and caring. They rock!
Brockett Elementary has been an answer to prayer for our special needs child. The principal is amazing and loves each child as her own. She and the teachers use positive reinforcement to encourage and motivate the students to be successful. They look at each child as an individual, capable and worthy of whatever time and effort is needed to find a way for that child to learn and succeed. They also have a ZERO tolerance policy for bullying. Students are taught and encouraged to accept other children who may be different, as their equal, and they really look beyond the surface to see the heart inside. Truly amazing school, staff, and students!
Great school. Principal is very positive and supportive of staff and parental involvement. Teachers really enjoy their job. Students are happy and friendly and enjoy their school.
This school is amazing! The principal is a hands on, HAPPY leader, starting every day with a positive, "you can do it" assembly to start everyones day. The teachers invest their time, energy and hearts in the lives of these students; showing up to games and performances. They go above and beyond to make sure the teaching and learning is excellent. THIS IS A SCHOOL THAT MODELS EXCELLENCE OF LEADERSHIP, TEACHING, AND PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT.
I have 2 kids attending this school and I could not ask for more from a school. From all the teachers to the principal and the administration, everyone is so friendly and happy to be there. I also love how they try to get the parents involved with different programs like Watch DOGS. My kids love it too, what more can you ask for!!
Our Principal, Teachers and Staff are the best! I thank the good Lord every day for putting them in my children's lives!
Brockett is a wonderful place to work with wonderful staff and awesome parents! I feel so blessed to work there!
As a parent and educator, I could not ask for a better school for my children! Mrs. Lott is one of a kind! She loves what she does and loves each child. She wants each child to be successful and believes that all children can achieve success! The teachers are hard working and will go above and beyond to help each child learn. I love this school and everyone who helps make Brockett Elementary a great place to be!!!!
Both my sons have gone thru Brockett and I must say this year with Ms. Lott has been an amazing year. I feel the teachers are very caring, and since most of them live in the area are very nurturing of our children and truly want them to be the best that they can be. They still need a little work on communication with the parents, but still 5 stars in my book!
I have 2 children at Brockett, and it is an amazing place! We love love the staff and the leadership is absolutely out of this world. My 2nd grader this year has used magnetic letters on the fridge saying "aubrey isd rocks!" looking forward to watching my kids grow here and continuing to be involved in the future! Parents are not only allowed to help out but encouraged to be around and support!! Can't say enough about this school!
I am a substitute for Aubrey ISD and absolutely love the staff and the way the teachers work with their students and care for each one of them. Mrs. Lott is the new principal who has done an amazing job and has really made some great changes that needed to be done here at our school. We start the day with morning assembly and psych the kids up for a great day at Brockett Elementary each and every day! It is a pleasure to watch the kids learn and excell at Brockett Elementary School!
Wow! What an amazing place for children! The principal, teachers and other staff members go above and beyond for the success of children. I have been tremendously pleased with my child's education!
Brockett Elementary has been such a blessing to our family!! The principal is wonderful. She really cares about the students and motivates them to give it their best!! The teachers are fabulous, always very friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to be sure my child has the very best learning and is successful. Brockett Rocks!!!
I am so impressed with the teachers and all other staff here. This has been the best school for my third grader. Mrs. Powell has earned my prais for a wounderful and caring teacher, thank you Brockett Elem.
I fully agree with the parent who commented on how cruel the kids are at Aubrey Elementary. I also agree with the parent about how clickish the kids are as well. I blame the parents and the school officials! Its really a shame and very sad for the kind, honest, sweet kids to have to wake up every single morning dreading what the school day is going to bring on this time! I know 1st hand what goes on at the schools in Aubrey because i have 3 girls - 1 at the high school 1 at the elementary and 1 that USED to go to the intermediate. My 4th grader no longer attends AISD. She could not handle 1 more year in this town. She went through a depression in her own way that has and would bring tears to any parent that knew my daughter.
I found the curriculum to be lacking. My child went to tutoring all year and still was recommended summer school. I also found the teachers to be unavailable, and the principal to be uncaring. I did not like the overall quality.
It is a great School, with a lot of additional programs that help our children.
It is our first year at this school. I was worried about the overall quality of the teachers and cirriculum coming from a private school setting. I am happy to say that the teachers are excellent and very nuturing and caring. The cirriculum appears to be on target grade wise, but as with all state funded schools, there are programs that don't exist because of lack of funding. The programs that are in place, like computer and music are excellent. We found a art class after school- great! The principal is very in tune to the students and parents. What I would say negative is the children being very clickish and it is hard for newcomers to find a way to fit in already established friendships. You would think it being a small town that it would be more friendly. The AAYS Sports Association is great, too. Lots of opportunity to do sports, cheerleading, drill.
Great school. Great teachers, great administration. Has exceeded our expectations. However, very worried that class sizes will grow due to growth in area and failure of community to support the school's needs.
