If your child is biracial and can endure racist bullying, then this is the school for you, my child has been at allison 2 years and has ben subject of racial bullying and she knows what it is to be attending a school with mean kids who has one view in life. I thank God to give me serenity and humbleness plus patience to teach my child right. Everyone is equal!!!

My son went to Allison last year...I have lived in Austin 12+ years and have dealt with several elementary schools in Austin...including on the north side. By far this is the best school any of my children have gone to. I moved and make the biggest mistake of my life, by moving into the Del Valle ISD. BIG MISTAKE!! and my son misses Allison so much. A special thank~you to Ms. Burk...such a great teacher!

I love that all of our community comes together. The staff and parents do soo much for our kids. Our school is the best even though my son is off to middle school I still go back and help the teachers and staff. We work as a team!! Just by walking in the school you can feel the enviornment which is happy and always eager to learn.

The children are beautiful and will give you a smile if you give them one. Some have a tough life but they fit in with all the children. They are wanting to learn, for some, it is tougher than for others. Teachers and staff recognize those struggles. Each day is filled with joys and sadnesses. The children are loved.

The principal, Mr Velasquez, the office staff, and Mr Torres are so devoted to the success of the school. Their energy encourages parents and grandparents to participate in school activities and the education of the students at Allison
