Mendez Middle School's staff is the most caring staff in the district. Principals, teachers, counselors, and support staff work hard to help their students achieve their educational goals.

this school lacks in safety, and discipline. There is too many gang related situations, and too many fights, and bad taks scores...

This school is very caring and supportive for students and their families. The administrators' doors are always open to parents, the academic programs are rigorous, and the extracurricular activity opportunities provide many venues for children to exhibit and explore their talents. The teachers there are all highly qualified, caring, and with so much enthusiasm and expertise for their jobs, which sets a great example for the students. The T.A.s are all helpful and seem glad to be there. A plus all around.

My oldest daughter that is now 28 went to school at Mendez and now my youngest is there. I have no complaints. The principal is wonderful and the Assisstants are just as well. The teachers and staff are very helpful and are hardworkers with our children. We are very fortunate to have such a staff and administrators.
