Cowan Elementary is a really great school that has a lot of diversity in its student body. It has a really fun, welcoming environment, with a strong emphasis on academic excellence.

The teachers seem to care about everyone and my daughter loves it!!! She went for Pre-K and is now in Kinder. We just leased another house nearby, and if we can, we will stay close by long enough for our daughter to attend through 5th grade and for our next child (due Feb 2010) to attend as well. It is great and seems to excel academically. We moved to South Austin with the intent of our daughter going to this school and not going to Kocurek. Thanks!

Administration, teachers, custodians, cafeteria personell, ALL employees at Cowan elementary are professional and care for my kids. Gives me comfort and security knowing they're in good hands at Cowan Elementary.

My three children go to Cowan Elementary. From the very beginning I have just been blown away at the incredible staff there. At every level, every year the teachers and administrators are the best in the industry. We are incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful school.

We just moved from another state to Austin and my daughter has transfered to Cowan Elementary. The administrators were very polite and helpful for the enrollment. My daughter loves the school since the first day, she always happy when she back home. The teachers care their students a lot, keep very close communication with parents so that we can be aware about the child in the school. It is a great school!
