This school is one based on who you are, instead of your accomplihments, both academically and athletically. Very small town and political. With the exception of a few, the teachers are uncaring, uninvolved. Gradespeed is offered, but not updated often, communication between parent and teacher is difficult. Integrity and discipline seem to be low on the list of priorities at this school as well.
Bandera High School has one of the best ag teachers (F.Pizzini)(and consequently programs) in the State of Texas. Eveything from Geometry, Spanish, Physics, Fitness -- they have teachers who care about the performance of each student. Only a handful of students know the value of their education and the remainder go for the social aspects. Bandera High School has a group of teachers who look for the potential in each student.
In my own opinion Bandera High School is one of the greatest schools in Texas. I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.
